It all started with Mabinogi NA when they made the exploit public and now it’s finally in TW server. NA and CN have shut down their servers, but TW is still up (not sure why).
What is going on:
If you’re online you have a chance to be summoned into a black tent, and you have a chance to lose your ego, personalized items, parts of your body, etc. Nothing is safe. Like I said above, they should not be able to choose what you lose, saying as the original hack made it random, but specifically personalized items and egos are a target for some unknown reason.
Upon exit of a hacked tent, you will be transported to:
“GM Island”
Dugald (Off the map)
Tara (Off the map)
Those are the only three I’ve seen people say, although there may be more. It’s more likely that hackers can choose where you exit, so expect it to be anywhere.
The result:
After exiting the hacked tent, you lose a body part, in this case your head, when you log off after this, you’ll be black-robed. There is no fix for it. Your character’s data gets corrupted through the use of packets being sent to the server after you get hacked. The only logical fix to this is for Nexon to do a rollback.
